설명 국제뇌교육협회는 21세기 인류의 미래 키워드인 '뇌' 자산의 올바른 이해와 활용을 위해 뇌교육의 개발 및 보급, 인증, 컨설팅 등을 목적으로 2004년 설립된 비영리 국제 단체. 2006년 9월 교육인적자원부로부터 사단법인으로 인가를 받았으며, 2008년 6월 뉴욕 유엔본부에서 첫 국제 뇌교육 콘퍼런스를 개최했고, 2010년 6월에는 유엔공보국(UN-DPI) 정식 지위 NGO로 등록했다. 2009년 2월부터 유엔글로벌콤팩트(UN Global Compact)에 회원사로 참여하고 있다. IBREA is an international nonprofit organization established in 2004 for the purpose of disseminating Brain Education globally that promotes the right understanding and application of the brain, the key asset of humankind in the twenty-first century. This organization obtained non-profit corporation approval from the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development in 2006. It held the first International Brain Education Conference at the UN Headquarters in New York in June 2008 and was approved as an associated NGO with the Department of Public Information of the United Nations in June 2010. Since February 2009, IBREA has participated as a member of the UN Global Compact.
